Busy times

Had a busy week. Just like many of you.

I am not entirely satisfied with this blog site so I am investigating and trying other sites. It takes time.

Helped with Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons (CPS)Boating Course exams, and have more to oversee this coming week.

Made a two disk video slideshow DVD set of local tours done with one or more of my family members, called Been There... Done That...
It covers Barkeville, Le Roi Goldmine in Rossland, Mascot Goldmine above Hedley, The Chasm on the way to Barkerville, Seattle sights, the Forts on Whidbey Island, Stave Lake Powerhouse,Kilby General Store, Hatzic Rock. The recent KISS concert wraps it up. They are presents to my family.

Started a fiction short story, The Barkerville Bank Robbery, from the Cornelia Barkman Casefiles - Casefile #0001. It will be posted chapter by chapter in this blog site. Cornelia Barkman is the female detective character in my fiction book, The Cornelia Barkman Murders, which is in the writing process.

Getting ready for Christmas as well.

Snowing today, big fluffy white flakes.

Got an email from Sydney, Australia. One of my classmates from nursing school in Christchurch sent a family newsletter. I have not seen her since Graduation in 1974. Good to be remembered.

Going to send an email to my friends Roger and Ken in Christchurch. It is 3 years since I saw them and their spouses, Catherine and Jan. I remember many of the people that were part of my life when I lived in New Zealand.

It was so good to return to New Zealand 3 years ago. I had only a few pictures of New Zealand when I came home in 1974. I made up for it. I have about 4,000 photos and 15 hours of video from the trip to New Zealand with my son Adrian.
